The
Scene
With a capacity of around 12,000, Tingley Coliseum is one
of the largest entertainment facilities in the state.
The Best
Bringing ice hockey to the desert didn't look like a good
idea on paper, but the New Mexico Scorpions are succeeding
in the Western Professional Hockey League. In addition to
hosting hockey, Tingley is also a major music venue. Past
performances have included No Doubt, Aerosmith and Motley
Crue. The coliseum is also the site of the annual
SuperBull Rodeo.
The Rest
According to a WHPL survey, Tingley Coliseum has the best
concession stands of any Western League arena. |
